Wednesday, 17 May 2006, 7,30pm,
Alone in the office, hungry, raining. No food in the building, no food in the streets. No one to call. No umbrella. Many other people stranded at the lobby of the building.
Low point in Bkk.. but not the lowest point.
Only cup noodles at the 7-11 in the building. No pei pei mian for me. Taking a brisk walk in the rain, i went to the other 7-11 about 30m away. At least there are instant noodles. =)
I’ve carrots, tomatoes, xiao bai cai in the apt. =)
No taxis, stuck at 7-11. Heck.. just walk to the opposite side where its easier to get a taxi. A tuk tuk.. 50 baht.. well.. not in a position to negotiate. The streets are dark and the roads are flooded. =(
I learnt how to survive in this city by myself. Who’s there to guide me to where to go? What to learn? Where to eat? How to speak? My friend called the internet. Unlike most people who prob have mentors around... learning the hard way i think. Surviving...
Its really hot in the apt so i decided to sit at the lobby. Amazingly, i bumped into a SG. He said something.. and HA... tt gave him away. Someone tt i can talk to. =)
Turns out tt he is working in SG embassy. At least its not Sai Yoke Camp.
Sadly, no electricity for abt 5 hrs...

Eeww.. Take care!
sigh. why dun u jus come back and learn the ropes of my business? and take away half my load? idea?!
hey, dont stay there if u really cant take it. The way i see, you're amazing, being on your own, working there for so long. The skills, experiences u gained is truely yours to own. Come home and i believe you'll be able to carve a niche and work on something that truely maximize your potential.
For all those tt cared... thanks.. but its just one of those lousy days at work... and the lousy weather just made it a little worst... The sun rises another day to remind us its a good beginning.. =)
The toyota advertisement goes... "its gonna be a beautiful day..."
