Day 2 in Samui

Finally uploaded the pics tt i wanna share...
Day 2 in Samui. Wasted .. call it an experience.. on travelling. Today we visited the Big Buddha, walking along Bo Bphut and Big Buddha beach to complete our "pilgrimage". Then we are off to Chwaeng beach, the most popular beach in Samui, where all the shops r, to look for accommodation for our third nite. We wanted a quiet getaway, so we chose Bo Bphut. But travelling there is a little more expensive as most taxi or song tael will charge more. sianz.. Else rent a bike (dun try if u r a BEGINNER), or a jeep. =)

Hooey and Ruffy was here!

Our dream hotels. Some are actually private property. Well there were some arguements that tourism had spoilt the natural beauty of Samui. Which is quite true, everywhere u go, u see construction going on. Its a sad sight, but tt's the price to pay. If u r a tourist, u r already guilty of it. So please take care of the environment, respect the locals. Localize...

Reach for the sea...

Our American Breakfast. Most hotels/resorts comes with it. yummmzzz...

Peanuts anyone??

A view from Big Buddha

My Trusted Sierra Backpack who had travelled much with me. Song Tael anyone?

A busy Chawaeng Beach
I like this photo. =)

A cheap and simple lunch of Kao Phut + Cocomuts.

Spot the difference.
Back at our quiet hideaway at Bo Phut. I am at least 50m away from shore. Tt's how amazing the beach is here. Its at the north part of Samui, meaning its on the south of Pattaya. Meaning the beach is not facing the ocean, which equals to a calm beach. Very different from Chawaeng. Another of my swimming pool. There were even people fishing some 100m off the coast. They were not on boats, they can simply walk all the way out.
Question: What kind of person are you?? How far are u willing to walk out of the shore. Someone once said, u can never find new shore unless u lose sight of the land... Travel and see the world...

Remembering seeing this pic on some travel catalogue or brochure??

The coast.. i wanna retire at somewhere like this...

Some local kids playing by the beach...
Tea break
The huskie got a little too cold inthe antartica... Sun, sand and the sea.. come to samui

A view from the top of our hotel..

Forgot to bring our cameras when we had dinner... It was this cool place that serves Thai food with a very modern jazzy mood place. We played pool. Final score, 2-1 to Hooey. =(

Another day passes by... I wish time will stop.. no wonder those ang mos can stay here for mths...
