This is the first part of the 8 day holiday tt hooey spent in Thailand. Note, Thailand, and not BKK. 8 days.. NEVER enuff.. part I of the trip is Koh Samui. We love the place so much tt we decided to spend another nite. Can't beat those Farangs tt can stay here for mths!! We met this Canadian lady that spends every yr here during the winter break. We met this grp of backpackers who had been travelling for 6 mths!!! Lonely Asians in Koh Samui... Think few SG comes here. We were ALWAYS mistaken for Thai (well.. there's certain advantage in tt), sometimes Japanese?!??! and sometimes Koreans (r we tt fair??!) Excellent experience to travel by train.. if u have the time =)

Our ferry.. There were only 2 pairs of asian. 1
MSIA couply, and 1 from SG. The rest are all ANG MOs!!! gosh... We really stick out
TOUCH DOWN SAMUI!!! After 12 hrs of train + 2 hrs of delay + 5 hrs of waiting + 3 hrs of ferry. Do your own maths
A well deserved dinner..
and a even more well deserving bedroom... This place is call Boat House Hotel. Its not by the beach but separated from the beach by a road and a restaurant. Nevertheless, the room is EXCELLENT and the view is good.. for the price tt is.. 1900 THB.
