Chatuchak

Another Day in Bangkok...
Waking up, i was deciding whether to go ahead with my plan to go to Chatuchak. I'm really lazy. I woke up at 7.30am. Nah. its too early, so i went back to zzz.. finally woke up at 11am. Did the usually stuffs b4 getting into my singlet (its gonna be hot and stuffy in CTC).
Walked out and went to this noodle shop and ordered 'gui tiao', i think its called 'mee gou' meaning thick. Not bad... there's alot of food in the morning and afternoons. i wonder where did all the shops go at night.
I decide to take the "bus" today. Its actually a van that moves within the area picking up people. So i got on. The trick here is that, if you are tall, DUN move into the vehicle, coz the roof is rather low. I hit my head on the bell a few times on the trip!! So embarassing! Rem that when u alight, to pay 5 baht at the front.
Got to Surasak station and bought a monthly ticket. Mo Chit is my destination. The most north BTS station. On the train, came a grp of young girls. 1 of them is very pretty with a sharp nose and shoulder lengh hair tied in a bun. Haha.. too young though.
I figure will prob meet alot of SG pple today as many pple will make use of the Hari Raya holiday. Not tt difficult to spot SG pple. The way they speak, their dressing; guys in berms and sandles, girls in shorts and tee, dun really see alot of thais wearing specs. and there was this guy wearing NB shoes.. SAF.. HAHA.
Gosh... a hot day... i need to look for my favourite Ice shobert (i think its coconut milk flavour) + peanuts on the top. Excellent. Found the dog clothes and my sis's slippers. An old lady was selling the dog clothes and she speaks Teochew. Yeah.. manage to get a better discount. =)
Took a walk along Patpong after i alighted at ChongNonsi. damn, shld have alighted at SalaDeang, its nearer. The place din change much. I never like to buy things there, i prefer CTC or Suan Lum. The prices are more localised. They do quote the same price to locals and its really up to your bargaining skills to try to get a lower price. Which i think i suck at it. Just a few cents... wat is it with us. I mean it isn't easy making a living for them. But shopping is more fun with the bargaining rite?
Dinner was bought at a Chicken rice toad side stall. Kai mun Khao. Surviving in thailand. I will be having pasta and sandwiches for Sunday...
