Slim

1st clubbing in RCA...

The place is really nice... Met up with Bee, yupz the married guy, at 7pm and took us 1 hr + to get there from Sathorn, taking the toll and exiting at Rama 9.
We parked the car on the opposite side and went into this club call Slim. There's 2 parts of it, East and West side, i rem reading b4. 1 side is playing R&B, and the other is a live band (thai music). Low sofas and candle lights on wooden tables are the deco. Went to the Live Band area (not sure if its east or west) and there was Bee's wife and her colleague at a table eating. Her colleague is rather big size, kinda standing out from the crowd of skinny thai girls that u usually see. But she's very friendly, although she dun speak much english. We chatted a while b4 Bee's other friends came, abt 7 of them. Food is pricey, with Esan (countryside) food and Fingerfood filing the menus. The popular drinks is Red Label with mixers ike soda and coke - 2L for THB 1800. Pretty cheap considering the place. There were pretty Bacardi girls going arnd, each bottle going for THB 150.
The live band really really rocks as it approaches midnite. It really got the crowd dancing, a little like an indoor concert. Mostly slow thai rock, a little like Beyond. At arnd 12, the band stops playing and begining to play thai rock... Even though i hardly understands what he's singing, but just sing along!!!
Dance till 1+ am b4 we went for supper... Remember to check out the place!!!
